Parents should be aware that the school will take any reasonable action to ensure the safety of its pupils. In cases where the school has reason to be concerned that a child may be subject to significant harm, ill treatment, neglect or other forms of abuse, staff have no alternative but to follow procedures and inform Children Services Social Care of their concern.

As is the case at many schools across the country, the area surrounding our school is extremely busy when parents are dropping off and collecting children. Following concerns raised by both parents and local residents about growing parking issues, we would like to remind you that we need to maintain a safe journey to school for all.
Please be considerate towards pupils and local residents when parking close to the school. Be aware of road markings, avoid blocking access to residents’ driveways and do not park on the yellow zig-zag lines. These areas should remain clear to allow safe access and if possible it is recommended that parents walk their children to school if they live locally.
Keeping the immediate vicinity outside of school free from parked cars will allow children and adults walking in and out of school to travel safely, where they can see and be seen by approaching traffic. The safety of our pupils must be a priority in everything that we do so please consider this when you bring your car close to school; a five minute walk could make all the difference to the safety of our children.
For further details please read the following Parking Notice.
